Labor Day is coming, So WHAT, just the holiday to end summer right. Not so fast on this show, we will remember the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Blair Mountain where miners were assaulted by corporate and government thugs on the ground and from the air. Then we will have special guest Vonda McDaniel, President of the Central Labor Council, who will discuss the current situation with Labor across the country and the importance of current legislation of not only workers but voters, democracy, and the country itself. We finish up with a Joe Hill song sung by friends of the show Michael August and Nell Levin.
