Are churches today looking for Jesus? 1 Thessalonians 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. 2 Timothy 4:8enceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. I love talking about the rapture. I still believe in it. I still look for Him everyday! This could be the day! I’ve done this since 1970. 51 years of watching for Him. Don’t you get discouraged? I must admit I didn’t think it would get this bad. “What did you think the last days would look like” says a famous Bible prophecy teacher. He’s right. Did we think we weren’t going to suffer any? There are birth pangs mentioned in the Olivet discourse. We are in the middle of them right now! I must admit that sometimes I wonder if maybe the preterists were right that the church will go through the tribulation and then Jesus will come. But then I read The passages I’m giving to you today and quickly I regain my confidence that Jesus is indeed going to rapture the church!
