Interrupting Podcast

Comedy

As most of you may know, for the past few weeks there have been protests worldwide over the murders and questionable deaths of unarmed black people, the miscarriages of justice which follow these incidents, and the unbridled use of force by law enforcement officers. We at Interrupting Podcast normally try to keep it light and provide family friendly laughs. But we can't remain silent while these atrocities persist. Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd — and since this episode was recorded, Rayshard Brooks, Robert Fuller, Malcolm Harsch, and Oluwatoyin Salau — are just the latest in a long list of reprehensible murders. We think it is clear that there is a severe need for reformation in public service. We will continue to listen and learn. We stand with the black lives which are affected by the long history of inequity and injustice. Black lives DO matter.
