There are certain characteristics in people that remind us of our ability to confront and challenge injustice and inequities in society. Among those qualities exist Moral Courage. Without such individuals williness to be unpopular, to make certain sacrifices and ask each of us to think about how society is organized important social changes will never occur. These are the men and women that we should acknowlege and celebrate. The ones who call upon us to demonstrate a higher degree of humanity. I am not much of a football fan but I am a fan of individuals who possess the moral courage to demand change in a peaceful and civilized manner. Collin Kapenick is but one example of an American who have taken a stand for his fellow American all while considering the cost.
