Accepting that something bad can be the key to something great, hardships make us stronger.Don’t be a limited thinker in your business, if you don’t grow your mindset your business can’t grow. Change the mindset to push the limits instead of letting them keep you stagnant.This episode is a conversation between two friends who like to bounce ideas off of each other and have a lot of fun while doing it. Steve and Jordan discuss being true to yourself.[01:14] They talk about Genius Zone a learning exercise on how people perceive you.[04:53] Putting what lights you up at the forefront of your life is a core valley at Tribe.[07:37] If you could put a camera on your self when you are having a nerd attack you would laugh at how seriously you take yourself.[09:41] “Language is the house of being” many ways represents the limitation of our own thought.[10:12] Trying to be consistent timewise with your kids before bedtime being aware of how precious the time with your family is hard when you are tired.[11:43] Build the part of your life that lights you up first then building everything else around that. Build the life you want first, then have your business fit around that instead of the other way around.[12:27] Remind yourself to put your wife first, reminders to put someone before yourself and other things in your life.[14:00] A belief is not something that is logical, rational or provable, in most cases beliefs are just things we chose to believe.[14:45] Take a gratitude exercise where you write down things about your wife that you are grateful for every day. It’s easy to take people for granted when you live together, make your significant other feel loved, seen and heard.[16:15] Gratitude is a perspective we chose to take,its not rational.[17:11] Things that make you happy can’t be equally important, you can’t be equally committed to all of them, there should be a hierarchy for the things that light you up.[18:50] Sending people good thoughts and vibes can get yourself in the right frame of mind for the day ahead.[20:20] Accepting that something bad can actually be the key to something great.[21:58] Why is all of this important in your business?
