Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the country. People of ALL ages and all skill levels are getting "hooked" on Pickleball. Joining me today, is the Kings Point Pickleball Club (KPPBC) President ...... Cat Drinkard and long-time member Peggy Hamric. KPPBC started in Kings Point about 17 years ago with 10 members. Today.....the club is over 400 members strong! The Club hosts several tournaments during the year. some of them are local and the annual "Sizzler" tournament is an International Tournament, that hosts some of the top Pickleball players in the world. The KPPBC hosts many social events for it's members during the year, which helps pay for the upkeep and maintenance of the Pickleball courts. During the past year, the KPPBC raised enough funds to install "Lights" on two courts, which will afford members the opportunity to play Pickleball 24hrs. a day!
