Cover 2 - A Podcast on the Cleveland Browns

Miscellaneous

Akron Beacon Journal sports reporter Nate Ulrich is back from another NFL Scouting Combine, and has plenty of news to share about the Cleveland Browns. The biggest news coming out of the combine is that the Browns are expected to move on from free agent linebacker Joe Schobert. Nate explains if the reason is because of Schobert himself or the positional value of a linebacker in the pass-happy NFL. The future of players like Nick Chubb, Myles Garrett and Baker Mayfield may also have something to do with it. We also go over the loaded offensive tackle class, what Nate heard from them in Indianapolis and how they performed on the field. Iowa right tackle Tristan Wirfs stole the show, but is he the best fit for the Browns if they sign someone like Jack Conklin? Or would Mekhi Becton of Louisville or Andrew Thomas of Georgia be better options?  This week we also talked Clemson star linebacker Isaiah Simmons, but why we're dismissing the notion of a trade up from the 10th pick. That might not mean a move back into the first round, though.
