After a prolonged absence, WHO TRUE FREAKS is back and ready to talk about the adventures of the greatest Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey. And this time out we're tackling the opening episodes of the very recent series nine, "The Magician's Apprentice" and "The Witch's Familiar". The Peter Capaldi Doctor is up to his old tricks, travelling through time and saving those who needed to be saved...but when the person he intends to save turns out to be a young version of Davros, the creator of the Daleks, could the Doctor's compassion lead to the creation of the most destructive force of all? Plus, just how the heck did Missy survive and why is she stopping airplanes and harrassing Clara? All of these topics and more will be discussed as Hope Mullinax, Dave Walker, Shawn Engel, and Dr. Bill Robinson discuss the two shows.
