The COVID-19 epidemic has permitted lawmakers on all levels to flex their authoritative muscles. While some embrace the new executive orders and mandates, other citizens are attempting to push back. Michigan has been a hot spot for protesting the measures for curving the spread of COVID-19. Protestors have blocked major highways and even stormed the capital with an array of weaponry. Everything escalates with time and intensity, and recently a right-wing militia group has been caught planning a kidnapping, arson, among other crimes. Their target was Michigan's, Governor Gretchen Whitmer. It's no secret many right-wing militia members are huge supporters of the President. How does his rhetoric("Liberate Michigan!", "Stand back and Stand By!") and cavalier attitude towards violence affect the actions of his supporters?
