Dr. John Whittaker continues our series on Gospel Story with the Church & Completion from Acts & Revelation. He shares that our purpose is tied into the larger story that God is rolling out. Dr. Whittaker is a pastor and Bible college professor. He taught at Boise Bible College for 19 years. He also helped plant and preached at a church in Kuna, ID, and was one of the pastors at The Pursuit. One of his greatest joys in life is being a husband, father, and grandfather. He is the creator of the Bible in Life online teaching resources which you can find at johnwhittaker.net and of the Listener’s Commentary on the New Testament (listenerscommentary.com). The theme for the 2020-21 year is Good News. The Greek word that is translated as “gospel” is εὐαγγέλιον (euangelion), or literally “good news.” It is a word that is used diversely in scripture.
