We see in the Old Testament types and shadows that Isaac had two sons, Esau the hairy man, and Jacob the smooth man. Jacob supplants Esau, which means the Spirit has power to supersede the physical. We are designed to live from the Spirit within. When you realize the Spirit within you supplants (Jacob) or changes the physical, you are no longer Jacob. You are now a believer. You are Israel, or the man that rules and perseveres as God.
