This podcast explores American culture, society and traditions, with contrasts to Chinese culture and perspectives. We’ll talk about little things like birthdays and holidays, and we’ll dive deep into concepts like family, the American Dream, individualism, religion, politics and the Wild West. We all know you cannot separate language from culture: you must understand and appreciate both. Each episode is in Mandarin first, which is then repeated in English in the next episode. You’ll learn something if you are an American learning Mandarin, or Chinese learning English, or just curious about the next generation’s understanding of America society.
