About

Let’s take a moment to define Beauty. How does it look? How does it feel? How does it translate through you? In today’s world of social media platforms, like Instagram and Facebook, we often see various perceptions of beauty. We compare ourselves to others in appearance, status and style, focusing on the world’s definition of Beauty, and often forgetting about the beauty within ourselves. The journey to the Beauteous You is not yet defined -- or is it? My name is Jamilly “Budy” Whitfield and I am the host and creator of “Beauteous Me”. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), mom, wife and career woman, I have over fifteen years of professional and personal experience with trauma, abuse and issues related to women. I’ve guided countless women through the journey of discovering their inner beauty despite the adverse experiences they’ve encountered in life. I will host candid conversations on universal issues women face on a weekly basis. I will also feature special guests and segments as we journey through “What Were You Thinking” and “Asking For A Friend”. If you are searching for everyday inspiration, in the midst of self-discovery and can contribute to our daily topics or just wish to hear some great conversations and advice, this is the place for you. Subscribe Now! Thank you for listening to the “Beauteous Me” podcast and I am your host, Jamilly “Budy” Whitfield.
