ABOUT THE HOSTS: About Hank Balch Balch currently serves as the President of the South Texas Association of Sterile Processing Services (STASPS) and is the System Director for Sterile Processing at University Health System in San Antonio, TX. His SPD department at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY was named the "2016 CS/SPD Department of the Year" by Healthcare Purchasing news, and he was recently nominated for the 2017 President-Elect of the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM). Balch has published over 80 articles and commentary taking a creative look at CS/SPD issues, and has been printed in Becker’s Hospital Review, AAMI News, Infection Control Today, Healthcare Purchasing News, and The Tuttnauer Blog. About Justin Poulin Justin Poulin is the Vice President of Sales at Green Security LLC, where he overseas Field Sales Operations and GPO/IDN relationships and is a Clinical Operations Executive with Northfield Medical. He has over 20 years in the Medical/Surgical industry both as a Registered Nurse and Regional Vice President with Spectrum Surgical Instruments, a specialty division of Steris Corp which later became Integrated Medical Systems, Inc. He is an active supporter and participant in Regional AHRMM and IAHCSMM chapters and has presented educational programs at both the AORN and IAHCSMM annual national conferences. He is currently the Education Chair for SEPAC, a professional membership organization focusing on the healthcare resource and materials management field and serving the Southeastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Northern Delaware areas. Justin has exceptional leadership qualities with management experience in Sales, Clinical, and Field Operations.
