About

In 1971, Paul Hornung lost his Superbowl ring in a poker game in the section of the suburbs of New Orleans called Fat City. Three generations fight and struggle over its possession, paying the price for their greed. Fat City Blues, inspired by Richard Wagner's ring cycle, is the second in the Crescent City Heat series of novellas written and read by Charlie Brown, the writer of The French Quarter Hustle and Dragon Ash and the writer/director of the feature film Angels Die Slowly.
