Guerreras began as a Latina women collective in Chico, CA - a consciousness-raising initiative. The objective was to build a community where Latinas felt empowered and understood. Additionally, it was so Latinas could find other Latinas they could relate to or find support from. Today, I am introducing Guerreras as a podcast so that the message of political empowerment, civic education, and feminism can stretch far and wide. This is an educational platform for all listeners, but dedicated to all our hermanas!
