Often times within a world that’s so fast-paced, individualistic, and self-centered, it’s easy to feel lost, alone, and not seen. Yet when we are able to practice mindfulness, we learn how to be in tune with our emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. As a latino male, all of what has been mentioned is still very stigmatized within the Latino/Latina community. Yet as we begin to engage in these conversations, and talk about what we feel, what we want in life, and what we want for ourselves, we begin to peel the layers that society has covered us in. Be mindful, be self-aware.
