What is happening when you don’t manifest something you really wanted? Your alignment.  You’re always putting information out into the Universe about what you desire. Even when you think you’re not, you are. The Universe is listening to where you’re going and it’s helping you get there, whether it seems like it or not.  When you decide to invest in the long term manifesting game, which is creating the life of your dreams, you are giving the Universe permission to support you, however that looks. Ep #233: Manifesting What You Want

Vulnerability is key to the Law of Attraction.  The definition of vulnerability from dictionary.com is this “the quality or state of being exposed to the possibility of being attacked or harmed, either physically or emotionally.” Usually, when it comes to vulnerability and creating your dream life the possibility for attack is emotional.  Here are some reasons being vulnerable leads to better manifesting: The things that you want most can feel vulnerable to ask for.  This might sound something like,  “It’s too much.”  “It’s crazy to want that.”  “People will think differently of me if I am truthful about what I want.”  Or something along those lines. All those thoughts keep you from being vulnerable. They keep you from ever fully asking for what you want. Because if you don’t ask, you won’t be open for attack. Sometimes you even avoid vulnerability with yourself because you can come under emotional attack from yourself.  Staying small keeps you away from the possibility of emotional attack. It also holds you back from asking for what you desire most deeply. The law of attraction works best when you ask, and own what you really REALLY want.  There is magic when you let your deepest desires out. That requires vulnerability which can look like: Showing up and owning you don’t feel perfect Asking for help Unapologetically asking for what you want.  Admitting you are human and sometimes don’t feel happy. The journey to your dream life will take you down a path of new experiences, ones that you cannot be perfect at.  Moving forward toward your dream life will require you to be vulnerable.  The emotional attack is almost always hypothetical in your brain and even if it’s real, it’s worth facing to become more of who you are, because that is how you become more of the person living your dream life. Ep #232: How Does Vulnerability Affect Manifesting?

What if the only thing to do today to get what you want is to be patient and enjoy the journey? Mia has been a wine-maker for 35 years. She understands the process and during this interview, she shares how sometimes there is nothing to do. Yes, sometimes she says, “You ask the grapes..” and they tell you, and more often it’s just waiting for them to be ready.  This is a lot like manifesting. Ep #229: Going Deeper With The Law of Attraction

One of the behaviors that helps me identify someone’s money story as Survival is the constant running. If your money story is Survival, that’s usually your life’s story as well.  Everything is on fire. You run a hundred miles an hour or you are crashed out on the couch. Balance is something you talk about wanting but have no idea how to get that, which makes sense. Your story doesn’t allow for balance. It’s all or nothing. That goes for time, energy and money. When Survival is your story, often when you start to grow, and fear creeps in, conscious or unconscious, you start moving faster. You start spending faster. You don’t pay attention to your money. You get yourself into frantic mode, because eventhough it doesn’t feel good, it feels safe.  Creating a crash feels safe because you know you can Survive.  But surviving is not thriving. So, if Survival is your story you have to wire your brain differently. You have to do things to slow down and find the feel good in that.  When Kate manifested (yes if you’ve been listening to her story unfold you know she takes full responsibility for creating what she did) leaving The Enchanted Circle, she had to slow down and just do the work.  It was the only thing to do.  And getting a part time job made her slow down “trying” to build her business.  It was all working to give her the insight and the brain adjustment she needed to let go of so much of her Survival story in a big way. The place I see a lot of people “get off” their manifesting track is by focusing too much on right now and too little on the long game.  Yes, it’s important to be present now. And you want everything to run smoothly right now.  However, it’s not always a smooth path to your Future Life and that’s because getting to your Future Self requires growing and becoming and often those things require you to go through things that don’t feel good. Focusing on the long game helps make those bumps along the way easier. Ep #228: How to Manifest More By Being In For The Long Game

You know that old fairy tale thing where a prince rides up on a white horse to save you? If you’re like me that makes you want to throw up a little because you want to be your own savior. You know you are a powerful creator who doesn’t need to be saved. Rather you need to step up and create your own reality.  What if it was your Future Self that sent you the white horse, or in Kate’s case, a white jeep? Instead of saving you, your Future Self leads you. She guides you to what you want, which sometimes isn’t what you think you want.  Kate LOVED her truck. If you listened to her first year interviews you probably heard all about it. And yet, her jeep feels easier. Listen to this interview to hear why. Last April when the Enchanted Circle went to AZ for an event, I put Kate as a driver on my rental car so that there would be more drivers if we needed them. That’s a manifesting story in itself. Kate was en route and wasn’t at the airport with me so technically they weren’t supposed to put her as a driver but they did. When I walked outside and got to choose which car I wanted, I chose the jeep and as you’ll hear in this interview, text Kate to say, “You get to drive this!”  I let Kate drive to Whole Foods where everyone completed a dream of spending close to $1000 there for our food for the next few days. It was magical and all perfectly orchestrated by Kate’s Future Self.  Her Future Self also orchestrated her getting that very car to drive everyday. Ep #226: How a Jeep Can Be Key to Manifesting Success

There is always a path to your Future Self. Sometimes we’re not ready. So we stop doing the work. We stop being honest with ourselves. We force. We hide. We keep from getting the help we need. Once you’ve opened the portal to your Future Self that denial to become her causes upheaval and it’s not fun. It can also feel like that upheaval takes us further from our Future Self.  And the one thing I know for sure is that there is always a path to your Future Self. When you don’t take the first one she set out for you, you might have to travel through the dark and lonely woods, but on the other side will be a new path.  There isn’t only one path to your Future Self. And she will always lay a new path for you when you’re ready. While in moments Kate denied her Future Self by not stepping into her, her Future Self always had her back.  When Kate didn’t step through one door, her Future Self would show her another option.  In Kate’s case it was a job that supported her while she transitioned more into her Future Self. Ep #225: Have You Gotten Off The Path to Your Future Self?

In general, I have always been the most committed person to growing and creating that I have known.  I would meet friends and other entrepreneur’s and I would get excited because I was like “We can do this together,” and then they wouldn’t want to go as fast as I did or they’d get bogged down by their stories. Very often I found myself alone on my journey.  That was one of the things Kate was most afraid of last year. So, she did what humans often do, and pushed against it. She tried to hold on really tight. She tried to control it so that all her people would grow with her. The problem was, they weren’t ready.  It happens. And I believe it’s a good thing. It’s a good thing for us to learn that we can grow on our own. We can let go of what was and open to creating something better. I get it, when there’s something good you don’t want to let it go and it can be hard to imagine there is something better. I’ve been there. What I learned is that when I let go of needing someone to come with me, I could create faster and then magically someone would show up at the same level I was. I learned that I could always create exactly what I needed if I was willing to let go instead of hold on.  So can you. And if you want a really big life, this is a skill you want to have. Ep #224: What You Resist Persists

At the time of this interview, things were good for Kate. She had brought in $918 dollars in the previous few days, bringing her total to $148,747.02. Prior to that Kate’s business had stalled. She has been trying to stuff down her Future Self. Putting her in a closet and telling her to be quiet. The problem is you can’t do that once you’ve started the journey to becoming your Future Self.  Last April, Kate stepped into her Future Self big time when she participated in the Future Self event at the Paradise Valley Castle. She left there more of her Future Self, yet she was still trying to be her current self.  When she left the Paradise Valley Castle, she forgot her jean jacket. It’s the jean jacket she wore in her $10K photo shoot. It used to be her favorite. When she didn’t have it, she had to get a new one, one that was more her Future Self. And she wore the new one, a lot.  Whenever she put on that jacket it activated her Future Self feelings; confident, sexy and classy. She was constantly activating her Future Self, so you can see why stuffing her wasn’t working out too well.  When you don’t open the space and step into your Future Self, she’ll do things to help you move the process along. Often those things are painful. It’s painful to push against and yet it often happens in the process of fully developing into your Future Self. It’s what Kate experienced for several months until it came to a head.  For Kate that was realizing she had to let some things go, rather than hold on. Ep #223: How a Jacket Can Help You Manifest Your Future Self

Resistance is a part of the process.  Here is the Google definition: the refusal to accept or comply with something; the attempt to prevent something by action or argument. In growth, resistance naturally happens when who you are bumps up against who you are becoming. It happens because while you want everything your Future Self has, you are also scared of what that means she does not have.  Because you don’t get to know every detail or what is going to change and evolve as you become your Future Self. Often, this causes resistance. Which can be a refusal to comply with things your Future Self does. Or strong actions of holding on to the things you are most afraid to lose. A refusal is resistance. And it can look like: Not telling your coach things Holding tightly to things you sense you might lose Withdrawing Pretending everything is fine Not asking for help Not sharing the truth of what you are feeling Justifying not doing the “work” These are all things that Kate did. Maybe you recognize that you have done these things in the past as well. It’s okay.
