David trusts God to deal with His enemies. He doesn't take things into his own hands. Jesus fills out this trust relationship by explaining that we should do more than trust God, but actually love our enemies.

Psalm 2 proclaims the Messiah- We see the world coming against God, the laughter of God at such rebellion, and the Son of God promised an inheritance. And this Son calls all people to repent and come.
