About

The Moral Courage Project is a collaboration between the University of Dayton Human Rights Center and PROOF: Media for Social Justice that strives to shift debate and shape narrative by centering the accounts of individuals and communities with first-hand experiences of divisive issues. Moral Courage Radio is the podcast platform that accompanies our work in other media, which includes traveling exhibits, interactive websites, and print materials. Season One of Moral Courage Radio launched in 2017 as "Ferguson Voices: Disrupting the Frame" and chronicles the first-hand experiences of those who witnessed and shaped the 2014 Ferguson Uprising that followed the shooting death of Michael Brown at the hands of Officer Darren Wilson. Season Two, "America the Borderland," documents frontline defenders on the US-Mexico border, in El Paso, Texas, and rolls out April-May 2019.
