DJ Melowdee was born in Passaic, NJ and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She grew up listening to a variety of music such as soul, funk, disco, rock, latin, punk and new wave and she became a record collector at an early age. In the late 2000s Melowdee took her passion to the next level by becoming a DJ. In 2013 Melowdee became acquainted with House Music Legend Jesse Saunders and was added to his Electronic Music Cafe artist roster. In 2014 Melowdee became a resident DJ on Chill Lover Radio and was awarded one of the top podcasts of 2014 and one of the top DJs of 2015. Melowdee has appeared at many events and radio shows. Season 1 of Passion Play takes you on a journey of mixed sounds such as Deep House, Deep Tech, Electronic, Soulful and Afro House. Episodes 1-8 originally aired on Chill Lover Radio and Ep 9 aired on Mixlr in 2016. There are also special guests who appear on some of the episodes. Season 2 of Passion Play is a mixture of live shows in various events in NYC. Episode 1 kicks off with my opening set at the Coney Island Boardwalk in Brooklyn, NY on 06/22/14.
