This incomparable year is finally coming to an end, and we take a wary look back at it as we sift through the ever-growing newspile and talk about our favorite music of 2020. We chat about Thom’s new collab with his old buddies Burial and Four Tet, Jonny's growing collection of awards, Ed’s In Isolation videos, and even more Radiohead covers. Episode 39 – Life in a Glasshouse

We’re back to celebrate the 20th anniversary of everyone’s favorite turn of the millenium masterpiece: Kid A! We scour through countless articles with takes both hot and cold about Radiohead’s fourth record and dive deep into Steven Hyden’s excellent new book, THIS ISN'T HAPPENING: RADIOHEAD'S "KID A" AND THE BEGINNING OF THE 21ST CENTURY. Along the way we give some recommendations on things to watch and listen to that’ll soothe your quarantined soul, introduce a new segment where we discuss new covers of Radiohead songs, marvel at Ed's new guitar toy, and discover the nefarious reason Colin hasn’t put out a solo record. Oh and also please wear a mask and VOTE!

Episode 38 – Kid A

We’ve crawled out of our quarantine holes to bring you the Ed-centric episode you’ve all been waiting for! Ed released his very first solo album, Earth, and we gave it half a dozen spins so we can tell you which songs are summer anthems and which songs are ethereal stoner jams. We also dig through all of Ed’s recent interviews for all the juicy tidbits like how Ed and Thom met and who’s the “band mum”. Plus, our quarantine music, tv, and film recommendations, some more surprising Radiohead covers, the meaning of “cottagecore”, and much speculation about the probable Kid A/Amnesiac anniversary reissue.

Episode 37 – Long Time Coming

Our first episode of the year is here and there is much to talk about! Radiohead has opened the doors to their very own Public Library filled to the brim with exciting treasures. We dig through puzzling webcasts of yesteryear, a plethora of fantastic concert videos and tv appearances, wild stories in newsletters from the 90s, and never before seen artwork. We also had a great time vibing with Ed at one of his first solo shows in NYC! Plus, we discuss Stanley Donwood’s graphic novel release, Thom’s upcoming tour, and a film that contains a surprising Radiohead song.

Episode 36 – Everything In Its Right Place

It’s the holiday season and we have a special gift for you: a jam-packed episode where we look back at the 2010s and reminisce on all the good times, the bad times, and the meme times. Remember how you felt when you first saw Thom dancing in that bowler hat? Remember listening to King of Limbs for the first time? Remember the excitement to the lead-up of A Moon Shaped Pool? Also, we chat about Ed (or EOB) and his lengthy single, more intriguing Thom interviews, a mysterious package that Kristina received via air mail, and of course our favorite music of this year and our predictions for Radiohead’s 2020. It’s time for our third annual spooooky Halloween episode and we’re digging into the most terrifying of all topics: Radiohead and POLITICS! Episode 34 – Electioneering

Jukebox musicals are all the rage these days so we wondered what a Radiohead musical would be like. We enlisted the services of our friend and musical wiz Matt Roi Berger to pitch some possible Radiohead Broadway shows and oh boy, does it get intense. Plus, we briefly dive into the history of pop musicals and chat about Anima again, Thom’s possible beefs, his upcoming song for Motherless Brooklyn, and a delightful 90s mashup. VIVA FOREVER!

Episode 33 – Where Bluebirds Fly

The day has finally come: Thom Yorke’s third solo record, Anima, has arrived. We were fortunate enough to see an IMAX screening of the one-reeler and we’re still in awe! In this episode we chat about the mysterious marketing campaign, the film’s beautiful images and fantastic choreography, and how the stunning album itself made us feel...pretty good! Plus we wade through Thom’s enlightening interview with Zane Lowe and board the hype train for the possible Kid A/Amnesiac anniversary release. Guys, don’t forget how lucky you are!

Episode 32 – (Ladies & Gentlemen, Thank You for Coming)

All alarms and many surprises, we listened to all 18 hours of the Ok Computer minidiscs and have plenty to discuss! We share our favorite moments, the oddest sounds and the funkiest jams and try to unravel the sticky plot of how this gigantic leak made its way onto the internet. Plus, we chat about Black Mirror’s recent use of Radiohead, Thom (or his smoking doppelgänger) being spotted in NYC and Kristina’s eternal love of spooky scores. Also, a special minidisc version of song sommelier!

Episode 31 – How I Made My Millions

This is a round up! It’s been about a month since our last episode and there’s so much Radiohead news and happenings that we had to record a whole episode to get through it all. We chat about Ed’s upcoming solo record and his love of birds, Thom’s foray into “classical” music and his great interview with CRACK Magazine (not Cracked), a violent video game trailer inexplicably featuring an intense Radiohead cover, and much much more. Plus, an airplane themed song sommelier!

Episode 30 – the Daily Mail

Radiohead finally joins rock royalty with much reluctance as they are inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of fame. We luckily were able to snatch some tickets and watch as the ceremony unfolded for many, many hours. Who was there? What did they wear? Did David Byrne’s speech inspire or confound? We have all those answers plus some behind the scenes tidbits from our mole on the inside. Plus we chat about an surprising Pyramid Song cover, Colin’s first cover story, Thom’s LP3 rumor mill, and Jonny’s possible connection to an awful film. We're back with our first episode of 2019 and the burning question -- with biopics seemingly everywhere, is a Radiohead one next? We break down what would make the best film, who would play Thom and the boys, and who could possibly direct such a masterpiece? We also wade through the voluminous newspile and chat about Radiohead being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Thom’s infinite tour, and his dad tweets!

Episode 28 – How to Disappear Completely

We’re ending the year with a bang and plenty of bangers with Thom Yorke’s solo tour! Listen as we recount the glorious show that Thom, Nigel, and Tarik put on in Brooklyn, plus we test fans at the show with some Radiohead trivia. We also uncover a tidbit about the making of A Moon Shaped Pool, chat about our favorite (non-Radiohead) musical moments of the year, and serve up some juicy predictions for the lads in 2019.

Episode 27 – Twist

Get ready: we talk some more Suspiria, but no spoilers this time as we focus more on the “double” album and the handful of gleeful interviews that Thom gave. We also review a couple of well-edited Radiohead film analysis videos. Plus, we saw the incredible tribute band There There again and they did not disappoint! It's time for our second annual spooooky Halloween episode, and this time, we've literally just seen Luca Guadagnino's reimagining of Suspiria scored by our favorite frontman Thom Yorke. Spoiler alerts galore as we are joined by returning guests Claire Buckingham and Steve Ward to discuss baby's first film score, as well as the haunting and disturbing imagery within the film and how it matches up with the original. Also: endless praise of Tilda Swinton and yet another classic Onion article about Radiohead!
