About

When someone says, “we should talk more about mental health and addiction,” what would those conversations sound like? We are just two people who wanted to have those conversations. Our goal is to normalize the communication about the struggles that we all have. We will be having long form conversations with people from all different walks of life. We’ll have guests that are industry professionals as well as everyday people like you and us. Our hope is that the listener will be able to learn from the stories and topics being discussed and then “start talkin” about it with others. Suicide rates are going up, addictions to substances are increasing, and mental health struggles like generalized depression, anxiety, postpartum depression, and many more are being drowned out and ignored for fear of being stigmatized. It seems the one thing that everyone can agree on is that a change is needed. We’re here because we want to do something to enact that change.
