About

This podcast is intended to be a space dedicated for the usage of the beautiful Lakota language. Each episode features a Lakota speaker telling their stories, their experiences, their expertise, their thoughts and opinions, their knowledge and wisdom, all in Lakota. It will serve to increase the exposure of authentic spoken Lakota to the ears of learners (helping with syntax, grammar, context, and vocabulary), inspire and encourage Lakota speakers to speak Lakota more often, and to contribute to language documentation and preservation.
