About

This podcast series goes behind the scenes at the museum during the Female Voices exhibition, which runs from October 2019 to February 2020. Each episode explores a different aspect of the work that goes on in the museum, and the people who make it happen. What does a curator do? What kinds of objects does the museum have in its collection, and how does the team look after them? How did the museum’s story begin, and what are the plans for its future? Staff and volunteers at the museum reveal the answers to all of these questions, and more. Throughout the series, you can hear about the women who have played a key role in the museum’s story. This podcast is produced by local Worthing resident and social researcher Dr Sam Baars.
