Grace Melek is the owner of Success Fitness and Training Center in Maplewood, MN where they specialize in customized training programs for a variety of needs. Their diverse team of 16 trainers allows them to provide specialized services for older active adults, youth, prenatal and postpartum clientele, sports performance, post-operative rehabilitation, general health, disease prevention and management, weight loss, injury prevention, body building, figure competitions, and joint-replacement patients, among others.Their team has over 100 years of combined experience in the training industry, and the physical location of Success is celebrating their 20th anniversary this year.Grace holds Personal Training Certifications with the National Academy of Sports Medicine, as well as the American Council on Exercise, and the National Exercise Trainer’s Association. She has advanced certifications in orthopedic exercise prescription, senior fitness, and prenatal and postpartum fitness.Grace and her team are driven by the simple fact that each year an estimated 2 million deaths occur due to physical inactivity and each and every one of those deaths are 100% preventable. Furthermore, medicine is always at work to add years to our life, but not necessarily preparing our bodies to physically sustain those additional years with an ideal quality of life. The Success Team strives to change both of these trends through superior customized private training services, as well as small group training, youth programming, and community outreach.Their team is also spearheading the mission for stricter requirements and licensure for the personal training profession to establish a greater stronghold in the allied health care continuum.
