Do you struggle with self-care? Yes! Don’t worry many people do. Self-care is a general term that describes everything you do deliberately for your mental, physical, and emotional well-being. As simple as it sounds, many of us pay little attention to self-care. This is why ‘deliberately' is one of the most important words in the definition. You need to be conscious of your well-being before you can achieve true self-care. It starts from the simple acts like not checking emails at night when you know it affects your sleep and extends to more important decisions like going for a vacation or booking a massage when you feel you need one. Self-care encourages you to maintain a healthy relationship with yourself so that you can transmit good feelings to others. In this episode, I am joined with Alicia Walton founder of She Matters, a self-care box curated specifically for women to prioritize self-care. We chat about her story and why she was forced to prioritize self-care, the impact it has made, and how she turned her passion into purpose.  More about the guest: Alicia Walton is a recent MBA Grad, huge self-care advocate,  a wife, mom of two, and founder of She Matters a ꜱᴇʟꜰ ᴄᴀʀᴇ ʙᴏx subscription, for women to prioritize self-care.  Guest Contact: Follow Alicia on Instagram, check out her website here.
