On this one-off, Joe takes to the Writeway mic solo, addressing some of his recent realizations of both turning points in life—both in general and in the aftermath of 2020—and the creative process. “Get rid of your ego” has been a long-standing tenet of the Writeway approach, but recently, in trying to detach himself from his own, Joe realized that the death of anything is no inevitability—the end of something is the beginning of something else. In this fully self-observational, and semi-self-indulgent, episode, Joe establishes his pursuit of his own approval, adaptation, and acceptance.
