Julie talks to mental health advocate and blogger Anja Burcak. Anja was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder Type 1 as a college student and she started her blog called “The Calculating Mind” during her first manic episode in 2015. Her own lived experience with mental illness has given her valuable insight into the struggles that many others face finding the right diagnosis and treatment and she hopes that sharing her story will create more open conversations about mental health.
