In this episode of Sicilian Queens we meet Dr. Lucia Barbarya, who has 5 master degrees, and one in Sociology and history, she is an advocate for women and children, and we chat with her about how her journey has directed her to learn and change about i figli della routa, the children of the wheel, they are also called foundlings, this is the first episode, we are learning about how this has transpired in history. For those of you who don't know much we will talk about this in episode 2. Lina's grandfather was a child of the wheel, he did not know who is parents where, and was bought up by a foster family. This is a mammoth of a project for us, as we have explored so many things with Dr. Lucy, we are truly honoured by her, as she knows so much about this. Please enjoy and listen to the next ones.
