If the primary cause of all addiction is the result of unresolved trauma, I feel it's important to understand the phases of development where this trauma can occur, so we better understand as parents, and as adults, First, how we can identify possible trauma's that have occurred to ourselves, and Second, so we can more effectively raise our own children and try our best to avoid causing them developmental trauma ourselves.
