This conversation felt so natural as we dove deep into past patterns in ways of thinking, eating, exercising, restricting, etc. and how we have both found freedom from it. She shares her story of growing up with a performance mindset in both athletics and nutrition, how she decided to make that her line of work, and how she eventually had to make a huge pivot in her industry as she began to realize that certain ways of teaching were very harmful.
