Rob Adetuyi grew up in a small mining town in Canada. His view of the country was much different than the rest of the world envisions, but that is what has made him a successful writer, director and storyteller in Hollywood. He sits with America's Podcaster, Kurt Caceres, to share his incredible journey from a small town blue collar labor union upbringing, to the big budget sets and walking the lots of the biggest film studios in the world. His climb took decades, living in obscurity for many years, writing and pitching scripts to studios and executives. He received his college degree in Sociology, which has helped catapult him into writing and telling poignant stories about the human condition. He says that when writing a screenplay, story is more important than anything else. It can have the explosions and special effects, but without story, it has no depth, no longevity. He shares many behind the scenes experiences that the rest of the world never will experience.
