In our summer in Psalms, we examine the Psalm pinned by David, as he cries out to God in repentance. Psalm 51 written after David was confronted by the prophet of God in the middle of David's great sin. David responds by crying for a clean heart, and having his transgressions blotted out by God. Is this the attitude we should mirror when we are confronted with sin? Are we to coddle our sins and manage them instead of renouncing them and even killing them?
