Today Sue and Melissa, with great excitement, welcome Jackson Snelling - Singer / Songwriter from Arkansas Indiana.At only 17 years old, Jackson has had more experience with loss than we can fathom. His challenges with depression started at the age of 12. Loss after tragic loss, Jackson, like many others considered suicide as a means to escape his sadness and loneliness. But with a devotion to care for his mother and brother, he chose to live.And we're so glad that he did! We caught up with Jackson today not only to chat about his personal experiences with mental health but to also discuss how music has helped to support his ability to communicate his feelings and has offered him a renewed sense of passion and purpose in life.
