The Salt City FC podcast is back for Matchday 2 of the Major League Soccer season as Jake Hatch and Sean Walker talk soccer in and around the State of Utah. Sean and Jake kicked off this week's show talking about the 0-0 season-opening draw at Orlando City SC for Real Salt Lake and the takeaways both had. (2:06) Sean and Jake then played a game called "Panic or Nahhh-mic" wherein they talked about some Matchday 1 storylines for RSL and Major League Soccer and if they're concerning to them personally. (8:07) Sean and Jake then turned their attention to the home-opener for the Claret and Cobalt against the New York Red Bulls on Saturday. (19:30). Attention then turned to new winger Justin Meram as he talked to the media earlier this week about his RSL debut and his late days/nights at the Academy in Herriman. (27:38) The podcast wrapped up with some fun as the guys reacted to the news of Utah Royals FC defender Becky Sauerbrunn being traded to the Portland Thorns (32:25) as well as a quick look at the season-opener for the Real Monarchs as they look to defend their USL Championship in 2020.
