What are the minimum essential skills, technology, manufacturing, real resources and infrastructure within any country to enable them to sufficiently survive global pandemic or equivalent crises? On today’s episode, John and David co-isolate before the restrictions would have disallowed to discuss the missing part of public discourse on COVID-19 - Sovereign capability. Australia is particularly exposed to dependency on trade with other countries who provide many of these capabilities and this has caused a shockwave of realisation in the political sphere. What lessons are to be learned from this global pandemic and will we do anything to learn from them?
