The critical voices seem to be everywhere at all times, don't they? I mean, turn on the TV and the show is portraying how the character doesn't measure up, the commercials are letting us know we are not complete because we don't have the item they are selling and don't get me started on the news! We shut off the TV and the social media takes its turn. Then there's the ads within our games and what about family and friends?? Uhg! Is it all about what's coming at us? Hmmm... If so, we'd all become hermits never to talk or see anyone else ever again! Right? Much of the very deep seeded critical input isn't necessarily coming from outside sources.
