The world seems to be getting louder. Not just louder in sound, but louder visually and mentally as well. Distractions abound. It’s almost impossible to carry on a conversation, concentrate on a single thought, or focus on an assignment or project for more than a few minutes without something or someone interrupting. The buzz or chime of an incoming text message, an alert of someone commenting on an Instagram post, or the ‘ding’ of an email that requires immediate action. Quiet time seems to be a distant memory. This podcast is my attempt to document where and how people find focus, quiet their minds, and avoid distractions.
