This all stems from LeBron James training for football and Jerry Jones lining up to sign him immediately. In this, uh...interesting episode of Mind The Mess we start with some coronavirus updates. During our last show, sports were still happening and life was good and now coronavirus rules the world and there are no sports. We talk about how the NBA found out and the snowball that ended March Madness for everyone. BUT we aren't giving up and we want to give away our first ever MTM Shirt, so listen for details on our new plan (hint: it involves college basketball from 2008). We then move on to football. XFL? Cancelled! After five glorious, Xtreme weeks, the game of the people ended with no MVP, no All Stars and no champion. But hey, at least it didn't end due to lack of money or ratings so there's always next year! Then the "legal tampering" period of the NFL hit us like a train off the tracks and everyone in the sports world felt that like tingle in their lower butt cheek....its love. The NFL gave us the satisfaction of talking sports again as major moves took place and A LOT of players switch teams. Unfortunately in the middle of our NFL Free Agency talk, Skype gave us the middle finger and our technician, Medium T, fought like crazy to bring us back on to wrap up the show. But ultimately Skype hates us. So we decided to use the little time we had before Skype kicked us off again to talk video games our Questions That Matter (QTM)! College Basketball, XFL Week 3, NFL CBA, Tyson Fury, End Credits

We are back at it in our normal time slot this week and we are here to talk some Xtreme Football League! Week 2 wrapped up on Sunday with by far the best game of the weekend. And even though one third of the tripod, that is Mind The Mess, doesn't watch/care about it, the other two thirds does and it is awesome. I mean who doesn't like players chugging beers after wins with the last name of Boozer and the number 69? This is folks, this is the football peak! But anyway, we discuss the games and how bad Medium T is at fantasy XFL so enjoy. Then we play some NFL Free Agency Mini Games with "Sign, Trade or Cut". Medium T takes it there a few times when he marries Ryan Tannehill and, uh "does" Jameis Winston. We also get specific with free agents from the Eagles and Packers to make things interesting. Then we talk more about the Astors and how they keep talking and apologizing, but literally nothing will be done to them. We also have a nice over/under with how many pitchers will throw at the Astros and yes, it is a high number. The it was the NBA All Star weekend which gave us an awesome alternative to the usual All Str game and proved that Aaron Gordon will always be the bridesmaid and never the bride. In this late week episode of Mind The Mess, we discuss Week 1 of the XFL, including who is clearly the best three teams. Tony also switches his favorite team and jumps on the DC bandwagon as we also mention the craziness of XFL fantasy football. Then we jump into THE league that matters the most in our hearts....NFL. And boy oh boy is there things to talk about and we haven't even hit free agency or the draft. First, Philip Rivers will be putting on a jersey other than the Chargers for the first time in 16 years anddddd James Winston got an eye procedure done, so MVP 2020. Well that is unless Taysom Hill gets the chance to QB somewhere and takes the world by storm, IF he has a good running back. Plus we give our wayyyyyyy to early power rankings and fantasy rankings. Also, I think the MLB is drunk. We touch on margaritas and tequila later in our Questions That Matter, but the MLB is getting hammered off margs and Adam Gases's Jeffries (if you know, you know). And the man himself, Trevor f***ing Bauer, give us strength to absolutely light up major league baseball, sorry.
